Camellia Oil of "Food Doctor" Makes A Great Coup

On November 22-24 of 2012, Zhejiang Hangzhou international food and Beverage Exhibition ( FOODEX CHINA ) will be held in Zhejiang World Trade International Exhibition Center. This show has integrated high quality featured food from more than 20 countries and regions around the world. The competition between edible oil enterprises is most intense. Until now, FOODEX CHINA has attracted many domestic and foreign oil companies, such as imported olive oil, peanut oil, sunflower oil and so on. While the author thinks that the local camellia oil of Zhejiang will make a great coup for its unique advantages in this exposition.

With more attention people have paid to " nutrition, health " and more concerns about transgenic soybeans, the consumption of domestic high quality edible oil is increasing, the edible oil of small breed has become increasingly hot. In recent years, edible oil market appears some digestive varieties of oil with local raw material advantage, such as tea oil, safflower oil etc. There are also other varieties of unsaturated fatty oil, such as corn oil, canola oil, sunflower oil and so on. At the same time, the consumption of middle and high-quality edible oil grows with each passing day: 90% of the olive oil are import, the growth of annual import volume during 2004-2011 is 28%; the growth of domestic corn oil consumption during 2006-2010 reaches up to 47.3%.

After a long dormant period, tea oil will gradually replace the domestic consumption of olive oil in the future, and becomes the main variety of domestic high-end edible oil. For a very long time, tea oil is undervalued, while in fact it 's nutrition is above all the similar products. As a kind of high-end healthy edible oil promoted by the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), the content of unsaturated fatty acids is the highest in all edible oil (up to 85%-97%), by contrast, the unsaturated fatty acids content of olive oil reaches 75%-90%; prices are about 30% higher than that of tea oil. Therefore, tea oil market will be very broad, and low cost and high quality will the biggest killer mace for tea oil to open Zhejiang market and even the whole Chinese market. With the improvement of domestic awareness and production, tea oil will gradually replace the consumption of olive oil.
